Valete's Preseeder is a web-based tool designed to simplify the process of creating preseed files for Debian installations. A preseed file allows you to automate Debian installations by providing answers to questions that would normally be asked during the installation process.

What is Preseeding?

Preseeding provides a way to set answers to questions asked during the installation process, without having to manually enter them. This is particularly useful for automated installations or when you need to deploy multiple identical systems.

How to Use

Simply visit the home page, select your desired configuration options, and either download the preseed file directly or generate a shareable link. The generated preseed file can be used with your Debian installation media to automate the installation process.

To use a shareable link:

  1. Boot on your Debian installation media
  2. Select "advanced options"

  5. Enter the shareable link

  6. Select "Continue"

Alternatively, you can download the preseed file and use it with your Debian installation media by rebuilding the iso. You can use a similar script as this one: bergmann-max/debain-preseed-iso-generator
